The MEE Pedagogy

The MEE Curriculum (Montana Early Education Curriculum) is a thoughtfully designed pedagogy developed by experts at Montana Education, designed to provide a Smart, Engaging, and Nurturing foundation with a strong focus on child-centric learning.

This innovative curriculum blends the philosophies of Reggio Emilia, multiple intelligences, and the play-way approach, creating a holistic framework tailored for early years education. At Montana, we believe that every child is unique, with their own emotional, social, intellectual, and creative needs.
The MEE Curriculum acknowledges these differences and embraces a personalised approach to education. By placing the child at the centre of the learning process, the curriculum encourages curiosity, exploration, and self-expression.
Through hands-on activities, imaginative play, and interactive learning experiences, the MEE Curriculum nurtures the foundational skills essential for a child’s growth.

It aims to cultivate self-confidence, joy, and a lifelong love for learning while preparing children to be productive, well-rounded individuals. Designed with the early years in mind, the MEE Curriculum ensures that every child receives the right opportunities to thrive in a nurturing and supportive environment.
The MEE curriculum focuses on building essential 21st-century life skills that are crucial for children’s overall development. These skills help children grow in six important areas, known as the 6Cs:
  • Critical Thinking: Learning to solve problems and think independently.
  • Collaboration: Working and playing well with others.
  • Compassion: Understanding and caring for others' feelings.
  • Communication: Expressing thoughts and ideas clearly.
  • Confidence: Believing in themselves and their abilities.
  • Creativity: Using imagination to explore and innovate.
The MEE curriculum aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) to match the "early years" with the "Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)" stage. It emphasises quality learning for children aged 3 to 6 by focusing on their holistic growth—physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and language skills.

Our Programs

Pre-Nursery
Pre-Nursery

specially developed for toddlers between the ages of two and three, our pre-nursery program helps familiarize the children with basic pre-math concepts, listening skills, and reading skills. We understand the need for a holistic approach to education and focus on helping our students develop effective communication skills to express their feelings and needs and approach familiar situations with confidence.

The children are encouraged to develop their gross and fine motor skills through various games and outdoor activities. Besides learning to play in groups and making friends, our students are also taught the importance of being independent and play by themselves, if needed.

Nursery

The mental and physical faculties of a child develop rapidly when they are in the age group of three to four years. Keeping in mind their need for constant mental stimulation, we have designed our nursery curriculum to be informative, educational, and interesting.

In addition to learning basic math concepts and language skills, our students are encouraged to explore their creative sides with open-ended art activities. They participate in games, fun activities, and music and dance routines in small groups and learn how to take turns and coordinate with others while working as a group. At this age, they are also introduced to basic etiquettes like saying “thank you,” “please,” and “sorry.”

Kindergarten 1 / Jr. KG
Kindergarten 1 / Jr. KG

By the time they are five years old, children develop a natural love for learning through observation and exploration. At Montana International Preschool, we recognize this innate need in our students and encourage them to acquire maths and language skills through educational games and fun activities. They are taught how to communicate effectively with others and express their own needs and feelings.

Our students learn basic lessons about the community and the environment we live in. They learn about the different members of their families and are given a basic idea about whom to contact in emergency situations. As children become more self-aware, we introduce them to self-care practices and how to maintain personal hygiene.

Kindergarten 2 / Sr. KG

Six-year-olds have an insatiable thirst for knowledge, and their eagerness to learn grows with each passing year. Our students in Kindergarten 2 are taught new words in both English and Hindi through fun games and interactive sessions and are encouraged to practice their reading and writing skills.

We introduce our students to exciting facts about the world around us and encourage them to care for the environment. The development of interpersonal skills, confidence building, and developing good manners are among our focus areas in Kindergarten 2. At this age, the children are also taught about personal safety concepts like “bad touch” and what to do in case of emergencies.
